Five tips to use SEO
Search Engine Optimization is the process of affecting a website visibility, or, to be straight and clear, the process of making modifications to your website so it gets a better position in the search engines such as the big G and Y. Search Engines use robots called “Spiders” to analyze every website and to put them in their database, that’s the main process we have to keep in mind for the SEO.
Here you’ll find five tips to start using SEO to your advantage.
– Use Keywords: Using the right keywords will help you, when the spiders are crawling your website; the keywords will be used to keep clear the general idea of your site. In the other hand, people are looking for keywords, going from general to particular, for example, in this case, we would look for “Search engine optimization” “How to use it”
– Include Links: If you have links to other articles on your own website, hence known as internal links, it will a huge advantage as your website will be indexed, you’ll have more content on the page and will make it more relevant
– Use clear titles and descriptions: Nothing is more important than a clear title, this is what people will see after the search, if you don’t have a proper tittle or description, no one will choose your option after the search, be as descriptive as possible and use keywords in your tittle.
– Be Original, create your own unique content: Being original will help you a lot, search engines are indexing a lot of websites, and when they find copied contents, they penalize the copycats by giving them a worst ranks. Bear in mind that if you have an original content with a good quality, you’ll be better ranked.
– Create a Site map page: When the Spiders crawl in your site, they may get lost, or they may miss something in your site. That’s bad because if your SEO article is not indexed, when anyone looks for the theme or keywords present on your website, your article won’t appear in the results. The Site Map will help you avoid that kind of problems.
Last, but not least, remember to be patient, SEO may take a bit of time to give results, but it will, and remember to make the articles for real people to read, not for the Spiders, because if you have a good position but a bad content, you’ll get more visits but will gain a bad reputation, and we surely don’t want that.
