A short interview with our newest member of the month, Abdelkader Mohand:
– Could you describe us your background in a few words?
– I’m 49 years old, I am married and father of a 4-year-old boy. I’ve been a sportswriter for 22 years now. I have worked for several Algerian newspapers, including “Le Soir d’Algérie” and “El Watan”. I have also been the editor in chief of a specialized daily newspaper, “Compétition”. At the present time, I am the section editor of a general information newspaper, “Le Temps d’Algérie”. I also collaborate with a specialized daily newspaper, “Derby”, as a consultant and corrector.
– So, sport is your favorite field?
– In fact, sport brought me to sports journalism and not the contrary. I have always been passionate about sport. I also write short stories, which are sometimes published in the newspapers.
– For how long have you been a member of AllTheContent?
-Three years. At the beginning I adapted news people, films and music from Arabic to French. Currently, I produce a musical news every day.
– What could you say in one sentence, to convince other people to join the AllTheContent network?
– It is a great honor for me to be a member of the agency. AllTheContent allowed me to deepen my artistic knowledge, learning new writing techniques. It must be said that the team is very professional, always listening to its members. Hats off !

– Pourrais-tu nous décrire en quelques mots ton parcours?
– J’ai 49 ans, je suis marié et père d’un petit garçon de 4 ans. Cela fait 22 ans que je suis journaliste sportif. J’ai travaillé pour plusieurs journaux algériens, “Le Soir d’Algérie” et “El Watan” notamment. J’ai aussi été rédacteur en chef d’un quotidien spécialisé, “Compétition”. Actuellement je suis chef de rubrique dans un quotidien d’informations générales, “Le Temps d’Algérie”. Je collabore également avec un quotidien spécialisé, “Derby” en tant que consultant et réviseur.
– Le sport, c’est donc ton domaine de prédilection?
– En fait, c’est le sport qui m’a amené au journalisme sportif et non le contraire. J’ai toujours été un passionné de sport. J’écris aussi des petites nouvelles, qu’il m’arrive parfois de publier dans des journaux.
– Depuis combien de temps es-tu membre d’AllTheContent ?
– Trois ans. Au début, j’adaptais des news people, cinéma et musique de l’arabe au français. Actuellement, je produis une news musicale par jour.
– Qu’est-ce que tu pourrais dire, en une phrase, pour convaincre d’autres personnes de rejoindre le réseau AllTheContent?
– C’est un grand honneur pour moi d’être membre de l’agence. AllTheContent m’a permis d’approfondir mes connaissances artistiques, d’apprendre de nouvelles techniques de rédaction. Il faut dire que l’équipe est très professionnelle, toujours à l’écoute de ses membres. Chapeau.
